In this role, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class digital advertising for clients by providing hands-on implementation while leading and developing a team of advertising and SEO specialists.
This job can be based in the based in our DC, Kansas City or Chicago office (one of these locations is preferred) and is also available as a remote position.
Social Driver provides a variety of digital advertising services and solutions to our clients. Our services range from creating custom advertising strategies for each of our clients, launching, executing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns, consulting on building brand and channel growth through the use of digital advertising, training clients on advertising best-practices, and executing full-service of channel advertising strategies with ongoing reporting. Our clients expect that we deliver results ranging from driving event registrations and sign-ups, driving conversions to take specific actions on websites (i.e. filling out a form or making a donation), cultivating a highly qualified audience through lead generation, driving more website traffic and growing audiences. This team provides services to support all of these client goals.
Social Driver’s digital media delivery is a cross functional organization. We divide our delivery among multiple teams, each with expert-level expertise, including teams focused on social media management, graphic design and video production, content writing, and advertising.
This team specifically, the Advertising team (internally, we call it the Advertising Studio), is responsible for the creation, execution and success of all digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Messenger, Google, YouTube, Snapchat etc.). Our other in-house teams provide content, creative, and other support for ads. This team is specifically responsible for advertising strategy, execution and reporting.
For each client, the Advertising Team is responsible for crafting channel-based digital advertising strategies and plans, launching and optimizing campaigns, reporting on results, reconciling budgets, adjusting strategies, and ensuring that each client has a quality digital advertising strategy that achieves their goals.

The Senior Advertising Specialist is a hands-on execution role that requires expert-level knowledge of the digital advertising platforms - from social to Google. This role is also a team lead role that requires a passion for growing and mentoring less-experienced members of the team, coordinating with other teams and leadership at Social Driver, and leading client-facing conversations including intake meetings, check-in calls, and presentations.

Specifically, you will:
Produce advertising recommendations and plans with the goals of captivating the audience and encouraging them to take a desired action.
Run day-to-day operations of digital advertising campaigns, including: Launching, monitoring and assessing ad performance to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Planning and monitoring ad spend and budget. Reporting on key metrics on a weekly and monthly basis.
Lead and mentor a small team of digital advertising and SEO specialists.
Provide occasional SEO support - while this is not a huge portion of the job, we are looking for someone who is confident with SEO best practices
Ensure the highest level of quality and ensure that service level commitments are met
Lead client meetings including client intake meetings, regular client check-ins, and presentations of results
Communicate the ROI and success of digital advertising campaigns through analytics and metrics reports, including recommending changes that need to be made to improve results
Provide clients with periodic training and documentation to enable them to successfully manage their own future ad campaigns.
Oversee and reconcile project advertising budgets to ensure the team is delivering high-quality products within budget and desired goals.
Research and build target audiences and keyword lists based on the clients’ needs and objectives.
Coordinate with multiple departments to construct quality advertising campaigns. (I.e. creative team, copywriting team, account managers etc.)
Develop performance reports that include key analytics metrics (conversions, impressions, engagements, etc.), key takeaways and recommendations
Provide expert social advertising media knowledge on platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, Google and other leading platforms
Provide channel recommendations to clients based off analytics
Have a strong point-of-view on the future of social and digital media, thinking about how it applies to our clients
You will report directly to our Director of Social and Digital Media.
3-5 years of digital advertising experience
Extensive experience with social (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat) and digital (Google, YouTube) advertising platforms (Certification in one or more platform preferred)
Demonstrated experience with conversion tracking and pixel installation
Demonstrated experience executing successful digital advertising campaigns for a range of initiatives and goals
Demonstrated experience with social media analytics/measurements and how to effectively communicate them to clients
Familiarity with SEO best practices and strategies
A self-starter with ambition to lead and mentor a small team
Excellent at multitasking
Critical thinker with problem-solving skills
Good time-management skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
Understanding of Google Analytics and web traffic metrics
