This job is based in our lovely downtown Washington, DC office.

Role Description:

Our creative team is looking for a talented Sr. Designer with a passion for the crafts of design and creative content. You’ll create campaign branding, social graphics, graphic templates, GIF/video assets and more. Knowledge of current and upcoming web design trends and process is required.

This team specifically, the Creative team, is responsible for the creation and success of all graphics or creative content to support digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Messenger, Google, YouTube, Snapchat etc.). Our other in-house teams provide content, strategic guidance, and other support for campaigns. This team is specifically responsible for concepting and developing creative .

 For each client, the Creative Team is responsible for crafting channel-based creative that aligns with digital advertising strategies and plans, while ensuring that each client has a quality creative strategy that achieves their goals.

  • You produce diverse and excellent design work with attention to the details.

  • Your work features excellent use of typography, illustration, thoughtful and unique layouts and demonstrates knowledge of design theory and principles.

  • You are passionate about innovation in design and brand positioning for social media.

  • You have experience collaborating with team members with other areas of expertise to create high quality visual design solutions across a range of mediums.

  • You demonstrate knowledge of design process, carrying a design from ideation to completion in a well-planned and thoughtful manner.  

  • You are able to focus on providing clients with the best customer service, setting aside personal feelings. 

  • You are an expert in the Adobe Creative Suite applications.

  • You are a natural self-starter and a problem solver.

You will…

  • Oversee high-visibility design projects, from conception to delivery. Deliverables may include, but not limited to: social graphics, graphic templates, video assets, GIFs, postcards, business cards, posters.

  • Design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics

  • Review and mentor junior designers’ work to ensure high quality

  • Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software

  • Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services

  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all our client marketing projects

  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools through research and attending events

  • Review and provide recommendations to scopes of work, to ensure we are providing a strategic approach to creative on campaigns.

  • Assist with project management, advising on creative allocations and timelines.

You will report directly to our Director of Media Creative.


  • Professional training, either a pre-professional design program, Bachelor’s degree, or other certificate program.

  • Proficient knowledge of social media best practice

  • Online portfolio with diverse examples of web design work.

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software and Sketch

  • 3-5 years of professional experience delivering social media graphics, print designs, and branding for clients in an agency environment.

  • Excellent at multitasking

  • Critical thinker with problem-solving skills

  • Good time-management skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)


  • Motion graphics experience

  • Video production and/or editing experience

  • Art direction experience
