Social Driver is seeking a Director of Social and Digital Media to lead a team of talented social and digital media strategists and specialists. Equipped with prior agency and management experience, this is a great opportunity to work with the team to elevate the client experience and present smart media solutions.

This position is eligible for fully remote work.


In this role, you’ll be responsible for: 

  • Leading and managing a team of social and digital media specialists with approximately 3-5 direct reports 
  • Supporting 2-3 key clients with strategy development working with the project team to execute the proposed solutions
  • Auditing team deliverables and processes to continually improve the team’s output measured by client satisfaction and efficiency 
  • Supporting new business and pitch opportunities as needed and as aligned with past experience and expert skill sets (this includes identifying opportunities to bring in other team members to support) 
  • Acting as go-to resource as a thought leader in social and digital media for internal and external stakeholders 
  • Identify team resourcing opportunities (growth, new roles, etc.) and leverage autonomy to work with the VP to implement 


Experience required for this role includes:
 

  • 7-10 years of professional experience in marketing and/or communications
  • 5+ years of professional experience specifically in social and digital media marketing
  • 2-3 years of agency experience, or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of management experience
  • Proven ability to develop and present integrated marketing strategies for clients 
  • Ability to create collaborative environments for ideation (internal and external) 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations 
  • Familiarity with: 
  • Asana or another project management tool
  • Google Analytics or another web analytics tool
  • Harvest or another timekeeping tool
  • Slack or another messaging tool
