About this position:

In this role, you will serve as the lead social media specialist for a top healthcare insurance brand. You will work embedded at the client’s main offices in Detroit, Michigan, as well as at the nearby office of their PR consultant.
As a social media specialist, you will work directly with the client and their PR team to implement social media strategies and campaigns that align with the communications strategy and brand goals. You will be part of a team that works together to build and execute modern communications and marketing campaigns. That team will include other Social Driver team members including project and account managers, content and creative specialists, and other digital experts.
On a daily basis, you will manage and monitor paid/organic social media channels, perform community management activities, identify opportunities for brand engagement, and create social media metrics reports. You will be a trusted advisor to the client and their social media expert on a day-to-day basis.
This role requires attending and leading in-person meetings with the client team. Like many communications roles, this position requires a flexible work schedule in support of client needs. Some of your responsibilities, including social media monitoring and management, will need to be managed outside of normal business hours.
