About this position: 

In this role, you will serve as the finance administrator and will work directly with the Vice President of Operations to administer accounts payable, receivable and collections. As well as inputting financial data, processing payments and making deposits. You will process new billings based on work orders and work authorizations. Weekly, you will track timesheets and invoice for our time and materials work. You will also input and process payroll and administer our 401k database. You will ensure that payroll changes are tracked throughout the year and reflected accurately so that there are absolutely no mistakes. You will be part of a team that oversees all internal operations at Social Driver and customer success. We call ourselves the Performance Team combining internal operations, finance, project management and customer service. It is at the heart of all of our services at Social driver. 



This role is based in Washington, DC. 


Role Description: 

  • Accounts Receivable. You will be responsible for processing new invoices, processing online payments, submitting invoices via online portals and following up on any due invoices. You will also be responsible for weekly timesheet processing and invoicing for any time and materials based project work. 
  • Accounts Payable and Expense Reconciliation. You will oversee payment processing for our accounts payable and monthly expense reconciliation. 
  • Payroll and 401k Administration. You will process bi-weekly payroll and track upcoming payroll changes throughout the year. You will also input individual 401k earnings and process annual reports. 
  • Financial Reporting. You will support our Vice President of Operations with basic financial reporting on accounts receivable, payable and monthly reconciliation. 
  • You will report directly to our Vice President of Operations. 



  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 1+ years experience in financial administration or accounts receivable/ payable (apprenticeships and internships are accepted) 
  • 1+ years experience in processing online payroll (Gusto, ADP or Paychex)  (apprenticeships and internships are accepted) 
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks or similar financial reporting software
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Microsoft Excel) and Google Suite 
  • Extremely organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Must exercise confidentiality on sensitive issues and practice good discretion in the interest of Social Driver
  • Must be trustworthy and dependable; arrive on time bring diligence and strong work ethic to the office every day.
