In this role, you will serve as an integral part of social and web content strategy, and information architecture for a number of different projects.  The Content Administrator is responsible for the creation, administration, and publication of digital content (copy, images, video, SEO metadata, taxonomies, etc). 

Role Description:
In this role, you will work on many high-paced projects including website maintenance, website redesigns, and content migrations. While working on these teams, you will make recommendations for both new and existing content that will appear on websites. The content administrator works closely with both the technical team to maintain site standards and with the creative team to uphold site design. The job of the content admin is to create a managerial process and workflow for content maintenance and governance within the company.
Specifically, you will:

  • Manage content through a CMS platform (Drupal, Wordpress, etc.) 
  • Keep track of content with an online manager (GatherContent, Google Sheets, and DYNO Mapper)
  • Have an eye for creating online marketing and design-appealing content 
  • Have the ability to take on tasks and any other responsibilities that may arise in a fast-moving environment. Self-learning is a must 
  • Have strong attention to detail and willingness to work under a deadline 
  • Revise, edit, and proofread high-quality, creative content as needed 
  • Utilize a critical eye for your own work to ensure clean, high-quality content that supports customer brand focus 
  • Confidently balance daily and weekly deadlines with department initiatives, utilizing multiple tools


Required Experience:


  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or other related fields

  • 2-4 years of experience working in a content management system

  • Digital media experience preferred, especially with marketing copy, website development, and copywriting
